Horror fans are hooked on Slasher for all the right reasons. The genre is supported far better than on mainstream social sites like Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. No one on Slasher gets banned for posting horror-related images – blood and gore special effects are welcome. People can build a network of friends faster than any of the mainstream social networks. Most importantly, it’s an enjoyable environment created by a horror fan, who is an active part of it.

“The three years we’ve been online have been amazing! I’m so thankful for all of the fantastic people who are on Slasher every day, making it so much fun for all of us! It’s also great to see all the filmmakers turning us on to their movies, authors who keep us informed of their new releases, artists who share their work with us, musicians who keep us going with new tracks, and the vendors who help us build our collections. I might have created the app, but it’s the people on it who are the ones that make it awesome each and every day. We’re all in this together and it’s been great working alongside fantastic people and companies who feel the same way we do about horror! Slasher 4.0 is going to help us provide more support, resources, and opportunities for everyone in the genre. This has been the most exciting project I’ve put together since Slasher was first released!” –

Damon Della Greca, creator of Slasher.

Slasher 4.0 is in development.

Slasher is currently available for free on Android & iOS in the U.S. and Canada. An Android beta is available in the U.K., Australia, and New Zealand.

Down To Hell will start Thursday at 8pm EST 5 pm PST. Doug and Corey will take questions from guest commenters and otherwise talk all things horror, metal, and strange.

“Taylor co-founded Stone Sour with drummer Joel Ekman in 1992, playing in the Des Moines area, and working on a demo. He joined Slipknot in 1997 to replace their original vocalist and has subsequently released six studio albums with them. After the first two Slipknot albums went Platinum, Taylor revived Stone Sour to record an album and tour in 2002. His debut solo studio album, CMFT, was released on October 2, 2020, by Roadrunner Records.” — wikipedia.

Doug Bradley, known for his brilliant role in the Hellraiser movie series as Pinhead, arguably one of the most intelligent inter dimensional demons, has also tortured us for more than 20 years now. He has been hosting Down To Hell since 2021 and the show has had some of the biggest horror and metal stars on it since.

The Down To Hell Twitch show hosted by Doug Bradley has had some amazing guests in 2021 including Piggy D from Rob Zombie and Robert Englund who we all know as Freddy Krueger. Doug Bradley aka Pinhead and Steph Sciullo have been hosting the weekly show since the summer of 2021 featuring giveaways, horror influencers, musicians, actors and horror creators. Down To Hell never disappoints the discerning horror fan.

Director Mike Schiff

Mike was born and raised in The Bronx, NY. He has worked in film, video, and television production since the late 90’s, working at the Howard Stern Show for eight years and starting his own production company, M.A.S. Productions Inc. Mike has filmed and edited music videos for John Carpenter, Fozzy, and Charred Walls of the Damned. He also filmed John Russo’s latest feature, My Uncle John is a Zombie.

Being a fan of both heavy metal and horror, Mike felt it was time to make a documentary exploring the reasons why the two genres go hand in hand. For The History of Metal and Horror, Mike also serves as producer, writer, director of photography, and editor.

Mike Shiff reviews the history of heavy metal music and horror movies, and explores how the two genres have merged over time. Famous metal artists share their first introduction to the horror genre, while horror film icons discuss their connections, tastes and interests to metal artists.

The History of Horror and Metal features some of the biggest stars from each genre. Such as Alice Cooper, Rob Zombie, Dave Mustaine, Kurt Hammett, Corey Taylor, Jonathan Davis, Marky Ramone, Don Dokken and many more.

The post Filmmaker Mike Schiff Live With Doug Bradley appeared first on Puzzle Box Horror.

Down To Hell enters its second year and the live show has already had some horror fan favorites including Robert Englund (Freddy Kruegar). Started in 2021 Doug Bradley and Co Host Steph Sciullo have been answer fan questions, hanging out with horror icons, and talking about everything from horror to how to say french fries in England (turns out it’s “chips”).

Since his school days Bradley has been close friends with Clive Barker. In the seventies Bradley and Clive Barker founded the progressive theatre group “Dog Company”. While Barker worked on writing with his friend Peter Atkins (script-writer for several Hellraiser films), Bradley started acting. Bradley made it to the Movie Monster Hall Of Fame with his role as the cenobite, Pinhead, who he portrayed in eight of the Hellraiser movies.

In pursuit of an acting career, Canadian actress Barbie Wilde moved to London, England many years ago. Wilde has performed in cabaret in Bangkok; traveled to Bombay to appear in the Bollywood blockbuster, ‘Janbazz’, which also starred Anil Kapoor of ‘Slumdog Millionaire’ fame; robotically mimed with English TV legends Morecombe and Wise; and danced professionally at the top nightclubs of New York City, London and Amsterdam with the dance/mime group, Shock. She has also appeared as the Female Cenobite in the classic cult horror movie ‘Hellbound: Hellraiser II‘ and as a vicious mugger in ‘Death Wish III’.

You know a film has reached cult status when Rotten Tomatoes scores it at 24% but the diehards like James O’s review really brings it all to the table.

Apr 07, 2011 – James O – on Rotten Tomatoes

From 1984 comes The Mutilator. The Mutilator is unique is a few ways that set it apart from all the other slasher movies: First, it actually has a GOOD title and end song. It’s not 80s punk rock; it has a kind of jazzy feel to it. I like how this one lulls you into a sense of security by having the first two murders being almost bloodless, and then…WHAM! Gore galore! This one is very gory, and there’s one kill that almost made me throw up (the kill with the gaffe). It’s a great slasher movie, and definitely worthy of your time.

Alexander Taylor (Scream, Queen! My Nightmare On Elm Street, Isolation, Paramount Plus’s Unknown Dimension: The Story Of Paranormal Activity, Arkansas, Eli Roth & Jason Blum’s Crypt TV) has signed on to score the upcoming sequel, from Bloody Disgusting’s article

Taylor said in a statement, “I’m so honored and excited to be a part of The Mutilator franchise. One of the best parts of this is the fact that Buddy Cooper is back! It’s rare for a legacy film to have the original writer and director come back, so you know this is going to be special. Buddy and I already have some cool themes and wild ideas for the score.”

Watch the Original 1984 Cult Classic Horror Film “The Mutilator” trailer on Youtube if you dare.

“I had 4 copies of The Mutilator (including a heavily edited family friendly version!) and a promotional standee as a kid, so to be joining this sequel, working with Bud Cooper, some of the original returning cast, and jumping back in to raise some hell with Terry… it’s surreal. I am beyond excited.” – Damian Maffei

Filming begins in 2022, so keep your eyes on The Mutilator movie Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/Big.Insane.Ed) and Instagram (@the_mutilator_shop) pages for updates.
